Can I open a bank account by mail and have it managed by you?
No. Although it is in some instances possible to open an account by mail, we
always insist on a personal "meeting of the minds" in Switzerland by means of a thorough
discussion.
If you manage my money as an independent advisor, do I have to pay higher
charges?
No. Our charges are competitive. Furthermore, as an independent advisor, we
have special agreements with our banking partners which reimburse us with
part of their income. These reimbursements are - with some exceptions when
explicitely agreed - deducted from our fees and thus flow through to our
clients. It is our policy to provide full transparency of our fee structure.
Fees depend on our services provided.
As a foreigner, do I have to pay taxes in Switzerland?
No, if you are NOT a resident of Switzerland but yes in special cases,
e.g. possession of real estate in Switzerland. You remain subject to taxes in
your home country, however.
Can you advise me concerning tax matters?
Yes, but ONLY if you are a resident of Switzerland and are subject to
taxation here. Please note that we do not offer any tax consulting services
to foreigners who are not domiciled in Switzerland or to Swiss citizens who
are subject to taxation abroad. We recommend that you contact a specialized
tax advisor in such cases.
